Richmond Scholars Program — Fall 2027 Entry

The University of Richmond’s Richmond Scholars Program is a highly competitive merit award for incoming first-year students. The official program says 25 incoming students receive full tuition plus on-campus housing and food, renewable for up to eight consecutive semesters of full-time enrollment. Other personal costs may remain.

Eligibility

All applicants for first-year admission who submit a complete application by December 1 are automatically considered. International applicants should also review the university’s international admission requirements, including its financial responsibility documentation and English proficiency guidance.

Application process

Submit a complete first-year admission application by 1 December 2026 for Fall 2027 consideration. There is no separate Richmond Scholars application; the admission application triggers consideration. Follow the university’s selected admission plan and credential deadlines.
