AUD 5,000 tuition reduction for eligible new international science students
The University of Queensland’s Science International Scholarships offer a AUD 5,000 tuition fee reduction for one semester to selected international students starting an eligible Faculty of Science program in Semester 1, 2027. This is a partial tuition award, not a stipend.
Applicants must be international students entering their first UQ semester in an approved Faculty of Science program lasting at least one year. They must meet the conditions of their academic offer by the scholarship closing date and demonstrate strong prior academic performance. Check the approved program list in the official terms.
Submit the separate online scholarship application, including a personal statement on your capacity to contribute to science. UQ lists applications opening in July 2026 and closing in November 2026; confirm the exact day on the live form before applying.
