Bridging English support for eligible international coursework entrants
This UQ award supports eligible international applicants who need Bridging English before beginning a coursework degree in 2027 or 2028. It relates to up to 20 weeks of Bridging English at UQ College; the published payment and credit arrangements depend on the package route, so it should not be presented as a cash stipend.
Applicants must have applied for full-time UQ coursework study and be considered for a package offer involving Bridging English. They must meet academic entry conditions but still need to satisfy the English language proficiency requirement. Check the separate packaged and sponsored 2027 terms.
Apply for an eligible UQ program. UQ automatically assesses applicants for this award and communicates it with the offer letter. Packaged students must accept the offer, meet stated payment conditions and enrol in Bridging English; UQ describes a subsequent credit toward the degree program.
